Laboratory extruders (extruders) are designed for extrusion of plastics and other polymers and materials. They provide scientists with a high ability to map and design industrial extrusion processes in the conditions of a research laboratory. Due to the high complexity of the extrusion process of plastics and other materials, a laboratory extruder should have the capabilities of industrial extruders and even exceed them. Our laboratory extruders shorten the preparation time for subsequent polymer tests. In laboratory practice, meeting this assumption means that the extruder must reach and stabilize the work parameters set by the scientist in a short time. Laboratory extruders must ensure short heating and cooling times of the plasticizing system. All measurement data recorded by the extruder control system must be reliable and repeatable. We are a manufacturer of laboratory twin-screw extruders with screw diameters of 2 x 12, 2 x16, 2 x 20, 2 x 24 mm, co-rotating and counter-rotating, with a range of L/D up to 48, with a modular and non-modular structure. The design of the extruders is based on innovative design assumptions, modern components and is based on many years of experience gained in the plastics processing industry. We designed plasticizing systems with replaceable inserts constituting the working surface of the cylinder. This means that the extruder can be adapted to work with other plastics or materials in a short time. Twin-screw extruders with a Vertex II gearbox replace two extruders, extending the possibilities of conducting research, they can work as co-rotating and counter-rotating, the direction of rotation is changed automatically from the operator's panel. |
