Injection molding machine (injection station) of plastic fittings intended for laboratory tests.
The test bench helps optimize the development and testing process of plastics, enabling testing of the mechanical properties of samples with injection volumes from 5ml to 20ml. It is a response to the need to inject different samples with changing geometry, combined with a limited amount of material.
The amount of plastic available for testing is often an obstacle to product development. Strict management of all parameters of the injection molding machine and the extruder during sample creation enables optimal repeatability and precision of the tests. The unintended potential impact of the user on the quality of the injected sample has been limited by the program controlling the operation of the injection molding machine and the extruder and by controlling and storing all operating parameters in the device's memory.
The injection molding machine can be equipped with molds for paddles, bars, discs and other shapes that are samples for testing plastics by injection. The prepared forms meet the current standards and can also be adapted to the specific needs of the customer.
Ready samples can be used e.g. for strength tests of thermoplastics, Charpy impact tests, determination of plastic hardness using the Shore method, as well as for determining mechanical properties and modulus of elasticity, e.g. when stretching or bending plastics. What's more, the obtained forms will be perfect for research on thermal degradation of polymeric materials and for determining the processing and secondary shrinkage of plastics.
