Laboratory single-screw and twin-screw extruders

Laboratory extruders from the Minilab series provide scientists with a high ability to reproduce and design industrial processes in a research laboratory. Due to the high complexity of the extrusion process, a research extruder should have all the capabilities of industrial extruders and even exceed them, especially in terms of available functions and additional equipment and repeatable in terms of adjustments and measurements. Preparation time for subsequent tests is minimized. In the practice of a research laboratory, meeting such an assumption means that in a short time the extruder must reach and stabilize the working parameters set by the scientist.

We offer two basic models of Minilab series extruders, available in many configurations.

  • RES-2PM 12 mm Minilab single-screw extruders

  • RES-2PB Minilab twin-screw extruders

  • Optional equipment for cooperation with electric micro injection molding machines RIM-20/1250, pneumatic RWM-20/800, RWM-16/1000, WT-11/1200

The first key factor determining the quality and credibility of research on the extrusion process is the control and reliable measurement of temperature in each zone of the extruder. The second important factor is the technical parameters and the ability to adapt the device to research on various materials.

Winders with digital stacker and universal roller lashings.

The winders are equipped with a digital stacker driven by a stepper motor.
The winders work with a roller haul-off which is equipped with a tension force compensator ensuring constant tension.

Winder with digital stacker NK-200/50 and NK-200/25

This device enables the winding of the profile in the technological line. The winder is adapted to winding the product on spools with a diameter of 200 [mm].
The reel mounting mechanism is equipped with easy-to-use clamps. The spool of the winder is driven by a modern digital drive.A digital layerer driven by a stepper motor was used to lay the profile on the spool. The use of a digital layerer extends the functions of the winder and enables programming of such functions as: diameter of the wound profile, spool width, position of the layerer for changing the spool. tension force compensation
All functions of the winder are controlled from an independent touchscreen operator panel equipped with a digital PLC controller. Thanks to this, the device can work independently or in a line. The use of a touchscreen facilitates operation, because the operator is not forced to approach the main operator panel.

Universal roller lashing OR-60/50 and OR-60/25

This device ensures transport of the extruded (extruded) profile. Roller lashing is a universal solution, because it enables the transport of profiles with different cross-sections. The lashing is an important element of the line, because it is often responsible for the dimensional accuracy of the profile. diameter measurements are analyzed by a digital line control system. Thanks to this, the extraction speed can be adjusted in such a way as to ensure the dimensional stability of the extruded profile. The extraction unit is equipped with a modern digital BLDC drive, which ensures reliable and stable operation. The extraction unit is equipped with a safety system.
All functions of the extraction are controlled from an independent touch panel operator [the device can therefore work independently of the line] and the main panel of the line.

Measuring devices perform non-contact online measurement using a laser scanner.

Depending on the version, the devices can perform measurements: single-axis [X axis], two-axis [XY axis], three-axis [XYZ axis] They are used to measure and control the diameter of: filaments, rods, plastic tubes and metal wires, glass, etc. Display can simultaneously show the average value measured in the XYZ axesThe meters are integrated in terms of automation with Minilab lines manufactured by Zamak Mercator.
